Dover hosts a vibrant Continental Market later this month as its surfs the wave of global attention from the Townwall Street “Banksy”.

The Town Team has lured this European temptation-fest to Dover for a four-day visit.
From Wednesday 24 to Saturday 27 May, the Market Square will be packed with stalls daily from 10 am to 4 pm.

The Continental Market offers a galaxy of goodies including savoury and sweet treats, clothing, jewellery and other items from around Europe.

Dover Town Team chairman John Angell said: “Brexit may be looming but Dover is proving the eagerness of our European neighbours to carry on doing business here.

“The Town Team is delighted to give the people of Dover and surrounding towns the chance to experience this exciting and eclectic market.

“With the nearby St James’ development now racing ahead, the message is clear: Britain, and its gateway Dover, is open for business. And our European neighbours are eager to carry on trading with us”.
